Seven-day right of withdrawal
If you contract as an individual, not on behalf of a company, you may withdraw within 7 (seven) calendar days counted from the date of payment or from the start of delivery, whichever is later, with no need to give a reason. This is the right granted by article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and we apply it to every purchase made through this website or through a proposal sent by us.
How to ask
Send one email to the address at the bottom of this page, from the address used in the purchase, saying that you wish to cancel. You do not need a form or a template. We confirm receipt by email within 2 business days and issue the refund within 5 business days. Both periods run from the date your email arrives, not from the date we reply.
How the money comes back
The refund is issued to the same payment method used in the purchase. We cannot send it anywhere else. Once issued, the time until it appears on your statement is set by your card issuer or bank, not by us. If it has not appeared after a full billing cycle, write to us and we will send you the proof of the refund so you can take it to your bank.
Projects already under way
After the seven days, a contracted project follows the scope document you approved. Milestones already delivered and accepted against the written acceptance criteria are not refundable, because the work exists and was handed over. Milestones not yet started are refunded in full. A milestone in progress is settled proportionally to what was delivered, and the calculation is shown to you before anything is charged or returned.
Work that does not meet the criteria
If a delivery fails the acceptance criteria written in the scope document and you point that out within 30 days of the milestone being accepted, it is corrected at no cost. That is not a refund case, it is an obligation of ours. A refund only comes into play if, after correction, the delivery still fails those written criteria.
Companies
Where the contracting party is a company, the seven-day withdrawal right does not apply by law, and cancellation follows what the approved scope document establishes.
Before opening a dispute
If something went wrong, write to us first. Writing to us is the fastest route, because we answer and settle it directly. Going to your bank instead takes away none of your rights.
